Favorite Scrapbooker/Blogger Tour

(If you're looking for the craft supply giveaway you can find it HERE
Last week I mentioned that I had been tagged in a "Favorite Scrapbooker/Blogger Tour," well, I realized that I have totally messed up on that blog tour and that my post was really supposed to go live today not...last Monday when I published it. I owe all the other bloggers in this tour an apology. It really wasn't my intent to totally mess this up.

Anyway....

I was tagged by my dear friend Jen Gallacher on the "Favorite Scrapbooker/Blogger Tour." I adore Jen! She is one of the most amazing people I've ever met! I'm giddy that she would tag me in the tour. The way things are supposed to work is that Jen tags me and then I answer the questions and then tag 3 other scrapbookers/bloggers whom I love. Well, I've contacted several of those ladies and they've all already done the blog tour or their post will be going live in the next few days. (Ugh, I really didn't mean to mess this up twice.) I would love to tag a few of my blog readers. Shoot me an email by clicking on the contact me button (you can find that on the right hand column of the blog) if you'd like to join the fun!

Without further adieu (and any more mess-ups from me) here's my portion of the "Favorite Scrapbooker/Blogger Tour" (updated from last weeks post)

1. What am I working on right now?
Well, this is what my desk looks like right now: I received an order from Paper Issues last week and I've got all the beautiful products spread out on my desk just waiting  for me to make time to work with them.
I also have a fabric project in the works. I'm thrilled to get the chance to play with some fabric from Bella Blvd/Riley Blake. Bella Blvd's Snapshots line (you can find projects I've created with this line HERE and HERE). With LOTS of help from my mom and my sister I'll be able to share a quilt we're making with the new fabrics.

2. How long does it take me to create a project?
It depends on the project but usually about 1 1/2 - 2 hours...but that's rarely an entire block of time. It's usually 15 minutes here...5 minutes there...20 minutes here. (I do have 6 kids around my house, they provide me with unlimited distractions.)
This is the most recent project I've completed and it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes. (I was using a sketch so it was an easy project to put together.)

3. What are my favorite products to create with at the moment?
I'm loving all the Fall lines that are hitting the stores. Bella Blvd & Carta Bella are my current favorites. I'm also itching to create with Shimelle's new line as well as the new Christmas line from Pebbles.

4. How does my writing/creating process work?
I almost always start with product. It's a little backwards but I love pretty paper and embellishments. I start creating with whatever product I'm loving at the moment and go from there. I have a basket of photos and a notebook of journaling sitting on my desk waiting to go on layouts. When I get about halfway through the layout I add my photo and place my journaling.

5. How do I become inspired and stay inspired?
I keep taking photos to stay inspired. I loved photos! I also try to scrapbook photos soon after I take them. I like to scrapbook a photo while the story is in my mind. If I know I'm not going to be able to sit down at my desk for a few days I write the story in a notebook and put it on my desk so I will remember it.

6. What is my signature style?
I usually describe my style as bold, colorful, clean, and classic. I think my signature is using patterned paper. I love patterned paper. Embellishments are fun but I'm always drawn to the patterned papers. I almost always use at least patterned papers on each layout...sometimes more.
